The $1 billion African Women Impact Fund

Women’s economic empowerment is fundamental to Africa's rise, but African women themselves have too long been locked out of key investment roles. The $1 billion African Women Impact Fund will bring women into financial decision-making positions — and add jet fuel to the continent’s economic growth. Launching now, with an initial $60 million investment (raised amidst the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic), the Fund will create a sustainable platform that will create a generation of African women asset managers, bringing new insight to public and private investment strategies across the continent.
