The Orange Economy also known as the Creative Economy is, according to UNESCO—"the cultural and creative industries are those that combine the creation, production, and commercialization of creative contents that are intangible and of a cultural nature". For Africa, the creative and cultural sector is a pivotal piece of the continent's economic engine and power, which demands a focused and aggressive effort for investment plus a recognition of the creative sector as a legitimate contributor to the continent’s global stature. The panel will dive into the various areas of the creative economy and its viability in Africa's economic development.
